Dive Masters: Queen Trigger, Sgt.Major, and Nudibranch

Have you ever wondered what a White Elephant would look like underwater? Well I'm about to tell you! But before we go into that, we got back to basics and practiced some core skills underwater.

We started by flooding our masks, and then getting rid of all the water. Next we took our regulator out of our mouths, making sure we took our arm under the regulator to get it back into our mouths. After we did that we did our last skill of the night, which was hovering. We first did a serious hover, and then after mastering that we posed for the camera and did a little mermaid modeling!

Once everyone had practiced their skills we went to the surface to hear the White Elephant rules. First off, we were all given a number and when our number was called it was time to dive down and get our present…..no one knew what they were getting! Some of the presents were in vacuum sealed bags, that were then transferred to canisters with weight in them. The Dive Masters then brought the canisters up to the shallow end and we got to open them in front of everyone, it was really fun!! By the end of White Elephant, we still had some time left, so Queen Trigger and Nudibranch thought why don’t we try to sing underwater??!! Everyone thought sure why not, so we went under the water and started singing, but it was a massive fail, because we could only hear ourselves!! As soon as that was done we disassembled our kit and sanitized it. And then we all said our Happy’s and until Next Year.
